Celebrate Veterans Day with Connect-Vets at Black Draft Distillery

This Veterans Day, Connect-Vets invites veterans, military families, friends, local businesses, and community supporters to come together for a special day dedicated to honoring the men and women who have served our country.

Join us on Saturday, November 7th, starting at 11:00 AM at Black Draft Family Farm & Distillery, 2878 Dry Run Rd, Martinsburg, WV 25403, for a day of gratitude, fellowship, and community.

Veterans Day is more than a date on the calendar. It is an opportunity to recognize the courage, commitment, and sacrifices made by the men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform.

At Connect-Vets, supporting veterans is at the heart of everything we do. This event gives our community an opportunity to come together, say “Thank you for your service,” and demonstrate that those words are backed by genuine support.

Whether you are a veteran, have a veteran in your family, work with veterans, or simply want to show your appreciation, you are invited to join us.

Food, Drinks, Music, Raffles & More

We want this to be a day where veterans and the community can relax, connect, make new friends, and enjoy themselves.

Throughout the event, attendees can look forward to food, drinks, music, raffles, veteran resources, community connections, and more.

It is also an opportunity to learn more about Connect-Vets, meet people from the local community, and discover ways we can work together to support veterans and military families who may be going through difficult times.

Supporting Veterans Beyond Veterans Day

For Connect-Vets, supporting veterans does not begin and end on Veterans Day.

Throughout the year, we work to assist veterans facing challenges such as food insecurity, utility expenses, housing emergencies, internet connectivity needs, wellness needs, and the transition from military service into employment or business ownership.

Every veteran’s circumstances are different, but the message behind our work remains the same: when a veteran needs help, they should know there is a community willing to stand beside them.

Events like this also help strengthen the relationships between veterans, local residents, businesses, organizations, and supporters that make this work possible.
